EarthSun accepts evolution, deep time, physics, chemistry and continuing discovery.

Sun and Earth are meaningful symbols
Energy, matter, habitat, ancestry and home—symbolic relationships, not supernatural claims.

Language, knowledge, trust and shared abstractions let strangers coordinate at enormous scale.

Stories are powerful coordination systems
Shared stories can help or harm and must be handled responsibly.

No asserted supernatural afterlife
EarthSun does not promise survival after death without credible evidence.

Limits make time, relationships, conduct and consequences more important.

Ethics must consider conscious animals, living systems and future generations.

v1.0 — Initial foundation
Established the twelve principles, truth hierarchy, correction duty and limits on authority.
Why it changed
This is the first public version. It converts the project’s initial proposition into a reviewable source of truth.
Unresolved questions
Community governance, ritual review, safeguarding and the ratification process for later versions.
Evidence that could change a position
Reliable findings that materially contradict a factual statement; documented consequences that expose failure in an ethical policy; or clearer reasoning that improves a symbolic or governance formulation.
