What is EarthSun?
EarthSun is a developing natural religion grounded in evidence, evolution and our place in nature. It begins with what we can observe, uses symbols without disguising them as science, and treats values as choices that must remain open to reason.
The shortest explanation
Humans are animals shaped by evolution. The Sun supplies the energy that sustains life. Earth supplies our matter, habitat and history. Language and shared stories let humans cooperate at immense scale. With no promised second life, what we do here matters.
Natural does not mean morally automatic
Nature describes what happens; it does not by itself decide what ought to happen. EarthSun chooses to reduce unnecessary suffering, respect conscious life, protect living systems and preserve possibility for future generations.
Religion without protected doctrine
EarthSun uses a religious form for shared meaning, ethical reflection and optional ritual. It offers no revelation, supernatural guarantee, infallible scripture or unquestionable leader. Its foundation includes a public duty to change.
