Learning with respect
Wisdom has
many homes.
EarthSun can learn from a tradition without claiming it, flattening it or pretending every tradition says the same thing.
Learn deeply.
Name the source.
Keep the difference.
Turn learning into service.
Sikh tradition
Truth should become a way of living.
Sikhs understand Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji as the living, timeless Guru—not simply a book of ideas. EarthSun must begin with that respect.
Live truthfully
Belief means little if it does not change how we treat people and the living world.
Reduce ego
No founder, leader or institution sees the whole truth or stands beyond correction.
Serve and share
Meaning grows through honest work, useful service and help given without humiliation.
Practise equality
Human dignity is not decided by caste, race, sex, wealth, status or belief.
The difference matters. Sikh teachings about Ik Oankar, Naam, Hukam, Guru and liberation are spiritual and theological. EarthSun does not redefine them as science or ecology.
Arya Samaj
Choose truth—and let it lead to action.
Arya Samaj joins truth-seeking with education, justice, freedom and the welfare of all.
Change when truth changes you
Changing your mind can be a sign of honesty, not weakness.
Think before you act
Ask who may benefit, who may be harmed and whether a choice can be corrected.
Share knowledge
Make difficult ideas understandable and learning available to everyone.
Link your good to the good of all
A better life for one person should not require a worse world for others.
The difference matters. Arya Samaj grounds truth in one formless God and the authority of the Vedas. EarthSun does not recognise one revealed scripture as infallible.
What this becomes
Ten principles for one shared world.
- 01
One living world
We belong within nature, not above it.
- 02
Reality before comfort
What is true matters more than what is easy to believe.
- 03
Truth with humility
No person sees everything. We stay open to correction.
- 04
Practice before promises
Values matter when they change how we live.
- 05
Equal dignity
Birth, status and belief do not decide a person’s worth.
- 06
Knowledge for everyone
Understanding should be clear, accessible and shared.
- 07
Service gives meaning
A good life contributes to lives beyond itself.
- 08
Love needs justice
Care includes fairness, accountability and repair.
- 09
Freedom carries responsibility
Conscience is free. Preventable harm is not.
- 10
Protect what comes next
Our choices should leave a living world for others.
